French President Emmanuel Macron plans to visit Germany next week to discuss security guarantees for Ukraine.

Macron intends to travel to Germany next Tuesday, as he is working closely with the country on the issue of security guarantees for Ukraine.
The French president announced his visit on Thursday, June 1, at the summit of the European Political Community in Moldova.
As a reminder, Ukrainian officials are calling on the West to create security guarantees for country amid the full-scale war with Russia. According to Ukrainian officials, they are needed to provide protection for the period until Ukraine joins NATO.
At the same time, the Ukrainian government expects that certain agreements on security guarantees will be reached at the NATO summit to be held on July 11-12 in Vilnius.
