Missile found near Bydgoszcz could have been launched in Poland

The missile found near the Polish city of Bydgoszcz seems to have been fired in Poland during air defense exercises.

This was reported by RMF FM based on information from sources.

An RMF correspondent unofficially learned that the missile fragments found in the forest near Bydgoszcz were the result of testing defense systems purchased for the Polish army.

Most likely, the missile fell in the area during exercises that are part of the improvement of the Polish air defense system. Poland has recently stepped up its defense against potential missile and air strikes.

The anonymous interlocutors do not yet know what exactly was found - a missile that, according to the scenario of the exercises, was supposed to be a target for the air defense forces, or, conversely, one that was fired at an attacking missile.

The journalists also noted that the first battery of Patriot air defense systems that arrived in Poland was being adjusted at the Torun training ground, which is located very close to Bydgoszcz.
