More than 12,500 facilities damaged by Russian aggression have already been restored in the Kyiv region.
This was announced on Facebook by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.
"As of today, more than 12,500 facilities that were damaged as a result of Russian aggression have been fully and partially restored in the region, ensuring the life support," Kravchenko said.
In particular, more than 11.1 thousand apartment and private houses; 187 kindergartens and schools; 101 medical institutions; 68 administrative buildings, and ASCs have already been restored.
The head of the KOVA informed that many reconstruction programs are currently being implemented in the region.
As part of the UNITED24 program, 13 damaged apartment buildings are already being restored. Soon, work is expected to start on 5 more sites. The restoration of housing in 4 communities (Gostomel, Dmytriv, Borodyansky, Irpin) will allow more than 4.5 thousand Ukrainians to return home. All works are scheduled to be completed by the end of this year.
A total of 38 facilities in the region will be restored at the expense of the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. In particular, 11 apartment buildings, where the customer is the State Agency for Reconstruction, and 27 facilities (17 apartment buildings in Bucha, Gostomel, Vasylkiv, Buzova, Makariv, and Irpin and 10 kindergartens, schools, lyceums, and sports schools), where the customer is KOVA. The projects will be implemented in 2023-2024.
