The Russian Ministry of Defense has spoken about the operation of air defense systems due to another drone raid last night, which allegedly flew to attack Moscow. Local authorities say the drone was shot down in the Istra urban district.
RBC-Ukraine reports this with reference to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and the Russian Defense Ministry.
The aggressor country's ministry has traditionally blamed Ukraine for the drone attack.
According to the Moscow mayor's office, air defense systems allegedly repelled a drone attack in the Istra urban district.
Sobyanin also claims that, according to preliminary data, there was no damage or casualties at the site of the crash.
At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Defense reports that an attempted drone attack on targets in Russia was "stopped" at 01.45 local time.
"Regular air defense systems destroyed a Ukrainian airplane-type unmanned aerial vehicle over the territory of the Istra district of Moscow region," the statement said.
