NATO member states must spend at least 2% of GDP on defense.
According to Censor.NET, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said this, RBC-Ukraine reports citing Spiegel.
He expressed the expectation that those allies who have not yet reached this level will do so "as soon as possible."
"Two percent is no longer a goal in the future, but an absolute minimum that everyone should achieve - not in decades, but as soon as possible," Stoltenberg said.
