North Macedonia signed support for Ukraine's accession to NATO
Prime Minister of North Macedonia Talat Xhaferi has signed a joint declaration with President Volodymyr Zelensky on supporting Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration.
This is reported with reference to the Office of the President of Ukraine.
As noted, the declaration reaffirms North Macedonia's support for Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic aspirations and its invitation to join NATO "when the conditions are right".
In addition, the parties reaffirmed their mutual support during the process of negotiations on Ukraine's and North Macedonia's accession to the European Union.
The Joint Declaration also condemns Russia's full-scale aggression against Ukraine and the war crimes committed by Russia. It enshrines North Macedonia's participation in the Ukrainian Peace Formula and its interest in the future reconstruction of Ukrainian infrastructure.
