The Norwegian Armed Forces Forsvaret plans to train about 3,200 Ukrainian soldiers this year.
This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian General Staff.
It is noted that the training of the Ukrainian military will take place both in Norway and abroad.
Norwegian Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram, together with acting Interior Minister Morten Eggen, attended the training of Ukrainians at one of the training grounds.
"We have been supporting Ukraine both financially and with training, and we will continue to do so as long as necessary," said the Norwegian Defense Minister.
At the end of April, instructors from the Norwegian National Guard Heimevernet began a four-week intensive training program for more than 100 Ukrainian soldiers in military medicine, firearms training, and team leadership.
