Number of victims has risen; hundreds of settlements are de-energized

As a result of the massive missile strikes in Ukraine on October 10, at least 19 people were killed and 105 more were wounded.

This is reported on the government portal.

“Yesterday, as a result of the shelling, critical and civilian infrastructure facilities in 12 regions and the city of Kyiv were hit; more than 30 fires broke out, which have been eliminated by the State Emergency Service. There are 301 settlements in the Kyiv, Lviv, Sumy, Ternopil and Khmelnitsky regions remaining without electricity,” said the State Emergency Service.

At the same time, it has already been possible to resume power supply in 3,571 settlements.

In addition, employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have engaged 22 power plants to ensure power supply, including 15 for health care facilities in several regions, as well as 7 power plants for critical infrastructure facilities.

As a reminder, on Monday, October 10, Russian troops launched one of the largest missile attacks on Ukraine since the start of the large-scale invasion. Enemy missiles struck civilian infrastructure and energy infrastructure in 11 regions of Ukraine and Kyiv.
