Oct 5, 2022

Russian occupants destroyed a 150-meter TV tower in Komyshuvas, Luhansk region, which signal reached the occupied territories before the full-scale invasion.

This was reported by the head of the regional military administration Serhiy Haidai.

The TV tower started working more than a year ago, on August 22. The radius of signal propagation was 50 km, so the signal of Ukrainian radio and television reached the occupied territory. About 200 thousand residents of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions could receive Ukrainian content.

"At its highest point, there was a blue and yellow flag measuring four by six meters. Probably, it was this flag that did not give rest to the occupants, who razed everything to the ground in the Popasna direction," said the head of the OVA.
