Occupants took 15 thousand of paintings from the Kherson region

Four trucks with looted property arrived to the temporarily occupied Simferopol.
It is reported by the Center of National Resistance.
"Russians took the property from the Kherson Art Museum named after Oleksiy Shovkunenko. In total, almost 15 thousand exhibits were taken from the museum's fund, as well as other cultural institutions of Kherson region," the statement reads.
The permanent exhibition of the museum includes icon paintings of the XVII - early XX centuries, Ukrainian art of the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries. Works of contemporary artists are also presented.
It is noted that not only cultural values were taken by the occupiers. Russians, traditionally, stole plumbing and household appliances.
