Russian military stole historical and cultural values from the Melitopol Museum of Local Lore.
Thus, in April 2022, the military and representatives of the occupation administration of the aggressor state stole historical and cultural values from the Melitopol Museum of Local Lore. Among the stolen property was also a collection of Scythian gold, discovered by archaeologists in the 50s of the last century.
On October 9, the Ministry of Defense published on Twitter a photo of the golden diadem of the Huns, which was stolen by Russian terrorists.
"It is not only washing machines. Soldiers also stole artifacts from almost 40 museums," the post reads.
It is noted that the photo shows a golden diadem of the Huns, part of a historical jewelry set of 90 items that the Rashists stole from the Melitopol museum.
