Podoliak names the only way for NATO to defeat Russia

The countries of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) are not psychologically prepared for a war with Russia. The only chance to defeat Russia is to do so in Ukraine.

This was stated by Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the Presidential Office, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing an interview with the official on Freedom TV channel.

According to him, the information that Russia will be ready to attack NATO countries in 3-5 years “is most striking in the total psychological unpreparedness of NATO countries for war as such.”

“They (NATO countries - ed.) have a lot of weapons, they are much more effective, but they are not ready to use them. Accordingly, if in 5 years Russia maintains the pace of militarization and authoritarianism that it is in today, NATO has no chance,” he said.

Podolyak noted that NATO countries “will never be psychologically ready for war with Russia,” and the Kremlin is well aware of this.

“Therefore, Russia is gradually raising the stakes in this war, gradually abolishing all taboos, gradually abolishing all rules. In particular, the rules of warfare. And, accordingly, it is preparing a foothold if it does not lose in Ukraine now. Therefore, the only way to defeat Russia is to defeat it at the expense of Ukraine, which means that Ukraine can do it,” said the advisor to the head of the OP.

According to Podoliak, if Ukraine fails to defeat Russia, “then NATO countries should prepare for extremely difficult consequences.”
