Jan 13, 2023

Ukraine received from Poland a batch of eight thousand terminals of satellite Internet Starlink, which will be used to provide communications in the "Points of indestructibility.

Ukraine's Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov announced this on Friday.

"We recently received a new shipment from Poland - eight thousand terminals (Starlink). We are transferring a significant part of them to the Points of Undefeatedness. Hundreds of Stalink already work there, so Ukrainians can call, call an ambulance, or work during blackouts", - he noted.

Fedorov did not specify exactly when Poland handed over the terminals but added that during the ten months of Russia's full-scale war, Ukraine provided nearly 30,000 Starlink terminals.

After the start of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, Digital Transformation Minister Mikhail Fedorov asked American businessman Ilon Max to provide Ukraine with access to Starlink high-speed Internet.
