Residents of Mariupol complain about constant shootings in the city

Residents of the temporarily occupied Mariupol complain about constant shootings in the city and the lack of response from the so-called "police".

This was reported by the Mariupol City Council.

The city council said that the so-called "mayor" of Mariupol, Oleh Morgun, used to work in law enforcement, but does not take responsibility for the security situation in the city.

"The city has become a danger zone. In addition, there is a large number of accidents, including those involving the military. Visiting Russians are generally "outlawed". There seems to be no police in the city. Mariupol residents have the fewest rights in the city, they have to defend themselves on their own," the city council said.

The city council also added a message from residents:

"Today, a drunken inadequate started a fight in the entrance, attacked women and children, called the police twice, and in response we heard: you may be called. We have one car, and it's full of corpses...
