Rumors of a possible Russian offensive were denied in the Sumy region

Information is being actively disseminated online that Russian troops are allegedly preparing an offensive in the Sumy region. However, this is the enemy's IAF, and the security situation in the region is under control.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine regarding the Telegram of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
"The security situation in the Sumy region is under control. Information about a possible attack on the Sumy region is being actively disseminated. This is nothing more than the enemy's information and psychological operations," said Volodymyr Artyukh, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
He emphasized that security measures should not be neglected and air raid warnings should not be ignored, but there should be no panic about the enemy's offensive.
The head of the JMA added that he is in constant communication with the command of the Armed Forces groups stationed in the Sumy region.
"Today there are no groups of Russian troops that would be able to take measures to occupy our territory again. The number of the Armed Forces of Ukraine deployed in the Sumy region can hold off the enemy groups that are facing the region. Therefore, the Armed Forces will fulfill their tasks," noted Artyukh.-
