Russia fired 30 Shaheds and one Iskander missile at Ukraine at night

During a night attack on September 19, Russian forces launched Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones and an Iskander-M ballistic missile at Ukraine. Air defense forces managed to shoot down 27 Shaheds and one reconnaissance UAV.

This is reported with reference to the statement of the Air Force of the AFU.

As noted, a total of 30 attack UAVs were launched from the southeast (Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia), as well as one Iskander-M ballistic missile, which the enemy fired from the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea in the direction of Kryvyi Rih.

As a result of combat operations, the air defense forces destroyed 27 Shaheds along the route in the Southern, Central, and Western regions of Ukraine.

In addition, a reconnaissance UAV of the operational and tactical level was destroyed in the eastern direction.

Air alert was declared in a number of regions of Ukraine at night. The Ukrainian Air Force reported groups of attack drones in the skies over the country.

In particular, Russia attacked Lviv with drones. A massive fire broke out in the warehouse of an industrial enterprise. Two people were rescued from the rubble, one is in serious condition. Later, local authorities reported that another man was killed.

It also became known that as a result of the drone attack on Lviv 15 vans of humanitarian aid, including from the Vatican were destroyed. Among the humanitarian aid were clothes, shoes, food, and generators.
