Russia's losses in Ukraine - more than 220 thousand dead and wounded

Russia's losses in the full-scale war with Ukraine, according to the latest estimates of the American side, amount to more than 220,000 killed and wounded.

This was reported by Sky News on Wednesday by British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace.

Commenting on the situation on the battlefield in Ukraine, the British minister noted that Russian troops have recently "made almost no progress" and "suffer huge losses."

"Russian troops have some really significant and deep systemic problems at the moment in their operations. The latest U.S. estimates that I've seen put the casualty toll at over 220,000 dead and wounded," he added.
