Russia should end the war in Ukraine as soon as possible because the Kremlin's aggression is causing suffering to almost the entire world.
This was stated by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, RBC-Ukraine reports citing a press conference video.
"Russia's attack on Ukraine and its far-reaching consequences are causing suffering to almost the entire world. We share this opinion: Russia must end its aggression as soon as possible," Scholz said.
He also personally thanked Turkey and its leader for playing a constructive and important role in enabling Ukraine to export its grain despite the ongoing fighting.
"It is bitter that Moscow is not extending this agreement," the Chancellor added.-
He also noted that Russia is violating the long-standing rule that borders cannot be changed by force.
"This is a change of times, and it threatens European security," the head of the German government emphasized.-
