Russia spreads fake news about Budanov's injury

Jun 16, 2023

Russian propaganda continues to multiply fakes about Ukrainian military leaders. First, Prigozhyn claimed that the commander of the Terrorist Defense Forces was killed during a shelling, then they listed Commander-in-Chief Valeriy Zaluzhny as "seriously wounded."

Today, the turn has come to Major General Kirill Budanov, head of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense. Propagandists from RIA Novosti wrote that Budanov was seriously wounded on May 29 in Kyiv during a missile attack. They say that after that he was taken to Rzeszow, Poland, and from there to Germany.

It is worth noting that on that very day, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine released a video with Budanov's address, in which he warned the Russian war criminals what awaited them.
