Yesterday, August 12, the Russian Federation shelled 20 settlements in the Kherson region. One person was killed and 17 others were injured, including two children.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the telegram channel of the head of the regional military administration Oleksandr Prokudin.
As noted, Kherson was under fire yesterday, as well as Bilozerka, Velyetenske, Prydniprovske, Tomyna Balka, Stanislav, Zymivnyk, Ponyativka, Antonivka, Darivka, Sadove, Muzykivka, Beryslav, Burgunka, Chervonyi Mayak, Mykhailivka, Krupytsia, Odradokamyanka, Shlyakhove and Vesele.
According to Prokudin, the Russian military struck administrative buildings and residential areas of the region's settlements, damaging 7 high-rise buildings and 36 private houses. The occupiers also destroyed a gas pipeline, outbuildings, private cars and an ambulance.
As a reminder, in the spring of 2022, Russia occupied Kherson. Despite the occupation, residents of Kherson held rallies against Russia. In the fall of that year, Ukrainian troops managed to liberate the city and push the enemy back. But since then, Kherson has been under constant enemy fire. The enemy attacks the city almost every day.
