Russian occupiers retreated south of Avdiivka

Near Donetsk, Ukrainian Defense Forces fighters have recaptured the territory south of Avdiivka (in the direction of Donetsk airport) from the Russian occupiers.
This was reported by the Donbas Operative Telegram channel, which monitors reports from Western English-speaking military bloggers and OSINT researchers. See their map.
In his turn, the spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Kovalev said the following in today's report on this section of the front:
"In the Avdiivka sector, the enemy conducted offensive actions in the areas of Avdiivka and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region yesterday but did not succeed. They fired at Novokalynove, Berdychi, Lastochkino, Avdiivka, Severne, Vodiane, Pervomayske and Netaylove."
