Russians attacked a train station in Sumy region with drones

Yesterday, on September 26, Russians attacked a railway station in Sumy region with drones. Three wounded railroad workers were reported, as well as destruction.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Telegram channel of Ukrzaliznytsia.

Among the injured:

  • a railcar maintenance worker who was performing his duties;
  • a paramilitary security officer;
  • a communications officer.

All the injured were provided with all the necessary medical care and their lives are not in danger.

The shelling also damaged the station building and smashed 15 windows.

“Fortunately, there were no casualties among passengers and employees of the station. All Ukrzaliznytsia trains in the region are running as scheduled,” Ukrzaliznytsia adds.

According to the prosecutor's office of Sumy region, the attack took place at around 13:00. The enemy hit the railway station in the town of Khutir-Mikhailovsky, Shostka district.
