Russians deployed Kalibr carriers to the Black Sea

On the morning of August 2, Russians deployed two Russian ships capable of launching Kalibr cruise missiles into the Black Sea.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Telegram of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

These two ships are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles, with a total volley of up to 8 missiles possible.

At the same time, there is no enemy naval grouping in the Sea of Azov.

Two enemy ships were spotted in the Mediterranean Sea. One of them is a carrier of Kalibr missiles with a total volley of up to 16 missiles.

The Navy reported that during the day, the Kerch Strait was passed in the interests of the Russian Federation:

  • 6 vessels sailed to the Black Sea, of which 2 continued to the Bosphorus;
  • 6 vessels sailed to the Azov Sea, 1 of which was heading from the Bosphorus.
