On the
morning of September 21, the Russians again launched a massive missile attack
on Ukraine. Kyiv, Rivne, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Khmelnytsky, and Lviv region were
hit. In some regions, air defense systems were operating.
Early in
the morning, an air alert was declared in almost all regions of Ukraine.
According to RBC-Ukraine,
the consequences of the attack are as follows:
- Kyiv: As a
result of the falling debris, there are damage in three city districts. Fires
broke out in the Darnytskyi district. Seven people were injured, including a
child.
- Kyiv
region: Fires broke out on the territory of enterprises due to falling debris.
There is also damage to the private sector, 2 people were injured. A hospital
was also damaged, and there is one injured person.
- Cherkasy: A
hotel building was hit by a missile attack. A fire broke out, and trade
pavilions in the market caught fire. 7 people were injured and 10 people were
evacuated. One person was rescued from the rubble.
- Kharkiv: A
warehouse building is destroyed as a result of the attack. 2 people were
injured.
- Rivne region: There is a hit to energy and civil infrastructure. Part of the Rivne district is without electricity.
- Lviv region:
The enemy struck an industrial area in the city of Drohobych, there is
destruction and fire.
Ukrainian
Railway reported that some trains were delayed.
According
to the Kyiv City Military Administration,
more than 20 enemy targets were destroyed by air defense forces and means while
repelling the missile attack on Kyiv.
"Preliminary,
about 10 Tu-95MS strategic aviation aircraft fired cruise missiles of the Kh-101/555/55
type," the administration said.
