Russians mine areas near Enerhodar and Kakhovka reservoir

Russians are mining fields in the Zaporizhzhia direction and near Enerhodar. There is a danger of staying in the forest belts near the city and on the territory of the Kakhovka reservoir.

This was reported by the mayor of Enerhodar, Dmytro Orlov.

"In the spring, with the beginning of the so-called "summer cottage" season, owners of country houses and plots face a new danger. This concerns not only the risk of stepping on a mine in their own garden or on the way to it but also a high probability of hitting unexploded ordnance while cultivating the land," he emphasized.

Residents of Enerhodar who remain in the occupied city are asked to be as cautious as possible.

Orlov does not rule out that the Russians are expecting a counteroffensive by the Ukrainian army. And the mining of the territory indicates preparations for the enemy's defensive measures.
