Scholz promised to strengthen the German army

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has emphasized the government's determination to defend its country and Europe.
He said this in a government statement in the German Bundestag, DW reports.
"We are doing everything necessary to protect the security of our country from any threat," he said,
According to Scholz, Germany intends to take special care of the security of the Eastern European countries of the North Atlantic Alliance within the framework of NATO.
