Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibavshvili met with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin.
This was reported by Yevropeiska Pravda with reference to the German Federal Government.
Scholz discussed with Garibashvili the expansion of multifaceted cooperation, current security, and European policy issues, as well as the consequences of Russia's aggressive war against Ukraine.
The Chancellor emphasized that Germany continues to support Georgia on its path to the EU and urged the government in Tbilisi to take the necessary steps to implement reforms.
He stated that the necessary measures should be taken "with maximum determination" in the coming weeks.
