This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Reuters.

An unnamed source in the Ukrainian government told the publication that the Liberian-flagged bulk carrier hit a mine after leaving the Ukrainian port of Pivdennyi.

At the same time, according to MarineTraffic, on Friday the ship was last heading to the Romanian port of Constanta.

The Greek company Seagate Navigation, which owns the vessel, did not immediately respond to journalists' requests for comment.
