The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Dmytro Zhyvytskyi showed the consequences of Russian shelling of the border town of Yunakivka on September 20, UNN reports.
"We were sitting in the cellar and praying that their houses would not be destroyed," say residents of the border village of Yunakivka. Pensioner Vira Shenina was just in the garden when the Russians opened fire from their territory. Being warned by the previous shelling, the woman managed to hide in the cellar. The shells shattered all the windows in her house and her neighbor's house nearby. The latter's goat was killed near the yard. Fortunately, people were not injured. Explosion craters are also in the gardens, and power poles on both sides of the road are damaged."
On Tuesday, September 20, Russian occupation troops fired 13 artillery shells from the territory of the Russian Federation at Sumy region.
According to the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, no one was injured.
