Support for Ukraine in the US Congress is under threat

According to a person familiar with the ongoing negotiations, these discussions on Wednesday were positive. Senators plan to continue them during the Thanksgiving recess.

However, Senate leaders say there is still a long way to go. In particular, Democratic Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Dick Durbin believes that the discussion is at a very preliminary stage.
