The AFU liberate new territories in the Melitopol sector

The Defense Forces continued to conduct an offensive in the Melitopol sector (western part of the Zaporizhzhia region).

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an evening update: "They are consolidating on the achieved lines, carrying out counter-battery measures."

In its turn, the Donbas Operative Telegram channel drew attention to the reports of Western English-speaking OSINT researchers (see their map) about the situation in this area of the front:

"In the Orikhiv section of the Zaporizhzhia sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces regrouped and continue to advance along the Kopani - Robotyno - Verbove line. The Ukrainian Armed Forces recorded a small advance in the direction of Novoprokopivka.

But the orcs are trying their best to hold back the offensive. There are battles in the village of Robotyne and for a section of the Robotyne-Werbove road. From Verbove, the Katsaps tried several times to counterattack the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but failed to knock out our soldiers...".
