The Bakhmut campaign has become the most expensive operation for the Russian Federation in terms of human losses. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Malyar.
According to Censor.NET, Malyar said this in an interview with the Rada TV channel.
She noted that Ukrainian experts in information counteraction conducted a study and concluded that the only thing the Russian authorities are afraid of is the number of dead on the territory of Ukraine.
"The Russian authorities have been hiding the number of people killed in every possible way, but now it is impossible to hide it. The Bakhmut campaign is the most expensive for them not only in terms of weapons and military equipment, but it is the most expensive for them in terms of human losses. It's hard to imagine how many people they put down there. It's hard to imagine that in the 21st century, a state can be so disregardful of its people," she said.
