"The cold winter nights of Euromaidan changed Europe forever. Today it is clearer than ever. The future of Ukraine is in the European Union. The future that the Maidan fought for has finally begun," Ursula von der Leyen wrote.-
According to Moldovan President Maia Sandu, her visit with Michel coincided not by chance - the agenda includes discussions on the next steps for Moldova and Ukraine's accession to the EU.
