The General Staff named the reason for frequent air raids

Not every air raid alarm means missile launch, but it is always a warning of possible danger.

The General Staff explained the frequent announcement of air alert throughout Ukraine. This is stated in the operational information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

The reason for the announcement of danger from the air is the activity of enemy aircraft over Belarus. One of the aircraft is equipped with hypersonic missiles "Kinzhal" ("Killjoy"), which can reach almost any point of Ukraine and are difficult to shoot down by Ukrainian air defense.

"The MiG-31K aircraft, which takes off from the Machulyshche airfield, is a carrier of hypersonic "Kinzhal" missiles capable of hitting targets throughout Ukraine. That is why we have to announce air alert so often in all regions of our country", - the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine explained.

Belarus, in addition to providing its territory for Russian troops who planned to capture Kyiv in February 2022, also conducts joint Russian-Belarusian exercises. For nine months, missiles have been launched from the country's territory and planes equipped with missiles have been flying up to hit targets in Ukraine.
