The U.S. advised Americans to leave Russia as soon as possible

The U.S. Embassy in Moscow recommended that U.S. citizens should immediately leave Russia.

It is reported by the European Pravda.

The embassy warned on its website that Americans risk being subjected to mobilization.

"Russia may refuse to recognize U.S. citizenship from dual nationals, deny them access to U.S. consular assistance, prevent them from leaving Russia, and conscript dual nationals for military service," the statement said.

The embassy stressed that commercial flight options are extremely limited, so Americans are advised to take land routes to leave.

"If you want to leave Russia, you should do so on your own as soon as possible. The U.S. Embassy has serious restrictions on assisting U.S. citizens, and conditions, including transportation options, may suddenly become even more limited," the U.S. Embassy notes.
