The US believes that Russia will soon launch Oreshnik in Ukraine again
The United States believes that Russia's Oreshnik will not change the course of the war globally. However, Russia may strike again at the territory of Ukraine.

According to a Reuters source, Russia may launch another hypersonic ballistic missile at Ukraine in the coming days. The United States believes that the Oreshnik is just another attempt by Russia to terrorize Ukraine.
“We estimate that Oreshnik is not a game changer on the battlefield, but is just another attempt by Russia to terrorize Ukraine that will not succeed,” the official told the publication.
Despite the fact that the Oreshnik is a new missile, the US official downplayed its usefulness. He called them “experimental” in nature, and said that “Russia probably has only a small number” of such missiles. The official also said that the weapon has a smaller warhead than other missiles that Russia has deployed in Ukraine.
