The US needs to gradually abandon goods and services from China

According to the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency William Burns, the United States should diversify its supply chains by gradually abandoning goods and services from China.

"China is a country that seeks to change the international order by building up its economic, military, and technological power," Burns said.

At the same time, he emphasized that refusing to cooperate with China would be a foolish decision.

"No country in today's world wants to be at the mercy of a cartel of one over critical minerals and technologies," the CIA director said.

He emphasized that in order to reasonably distance ourselves from China, we need to reduce risk and diversify our supply chains. Also, "we need to protect the US technological advantage and invest in industrial capacity."
