The US State Department reacted to RF's threats to use nuclear weapons

The US has already warned Russia about the consequences of using nuclear weapons. Threats from Russian dictator Vladimir Putin are irresponsible.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine regarding a briefing by the speaker of the US State Department, Matthew Miller.

"This is not the first time we have seen Vladimir Putin's irresponsible rhetoric," Miller emphasized.

According to him, such statements from the leader of a state with nuclear weapons are unacceptable.

"We have communicated in the past privately and directly with Russia about the consequences of using nuclear weapons," the speaker added.

He said that so far there are no signs that Russia is preparing to use nuclear weapons. But the US is closely monitoring the situation.
