The U.S. will continue to support Ukraine and help replenish the arms shortage, should such a need arise.

This is reported with reference to a statement by U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

He stressed that Washington has worked with more than 50 countries to build a coalition to help Ukraine and continues to do so.

"It’s a process and we’re working literally every single day with the Ukrainians and with this coalition of countries to make sure they have support.  If there are gaps, if there are shortages, they’ll tell us and we will make every effort to make good on them," Blinken said.

The secretary of state also reacted positively to Britain's transfer of long-range Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine.

"Different countries will do different things depending on their own capacities, depending on their own technology, depending on what makes the most sense.  So we’ve provided some things uniquely to Ukraine through this process," he added.

We shall remind you that yesterday the head of the British Ministry of Defense confirmed that his country had provided the Ukrainian army with the Storm Shadow missile.
