Ukraine has received a hospital bus from the British humanitarian initiative that will help evacuate wounded soldiers from the frontline to a full-fledged hospital.
This was reported by the Embassy of Ukraine in the UK, according to Yevropeiska Pravda.
The initiative to make this gift to Ukraine was taken by the Swindon Humanitarian Aid Partnership (SHAP), which brings together caring people of British, Polish, Lithuanian, and Ukrainian descent.
Most of the bus seats were replaced with hospital beds and necessary medical equipment.
The ceremony of handing over the hospital bus took place near the House of Lords.
Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom Vadym Prystaiko noted that this is a much-needed gift and thanked SHAP, as well as Lords Tony Berkeley and Ray Collins.
