Ukraine managed to return 14 more children from the temporarily occupied territories. At least one of them is an infant.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak on Telegram.
“Another 14 children have been returned from the temporarily occupied territories,” he wrote.
According to Yermak, several families with children were returned as part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. They were taken from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
The head of the OP clarified that the age of the returned children ranged from 2.5 months to 16 years.
He said that the families who were taken away were subjected to forced passportization, constant searches, and threats to take their children away every day.
Yermak emphasized that the return of Ukrainian children remains a priority.
