Ukrainian Armed Forces received secret drones
The Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive secret drones that have already proven effective on the battlefield. This was announced today by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov on Facebook.
According to him, more than 1700 more drones have been sent to the front as part of the Army of Drones initiative: Vampire strike drones, Phoenix FPV drones, high-speed Penguin, Avenger, Mavic, and Matrice.
"We are also sending secret "birds" that have already shown results on the battlefield. Soon the occupants will experience their work, and you will learn about it from the news," noted Fedorov.
He added that the drones will help the Armed Forces to conduct reconnaissance, destroy enemy equipment, and save the lives of our soldiers. Last month alone, Ukrainian UAV operators managed to hit 780 pieces of equipment.
The Army of Drones project was launched by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ministry of Digital Transformation. The program involves the systematic purchase of drones and their transfer to the Ukrainian military. The project also includes the repair of drones and training of drone operators.
Earlier, the Army of Drones received 53 pickup trucks for the strike companies. The full equipment of the UAV strike companies consists of drones for reconnaissance and strike missions, Starlink for uninterrupted communication on the battlefield, and pickups.
Recently, the Army of Drones set a new record for the number of Russian guns destroyed in a week. In total, 205 units of various Russian military equipment were hit.
