Ukrainian Armed Forces seize dominant position in Berdiansk sector

In the Zaporizhzhia sector, Russian occupiers focused their main efforts on preventing further advance of our troops.

At the same time, the Defense Forces continued their offensive in the Berdiansk sector (at the junction of Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions): "They are consolidating on the achieved lines, carrying out counter-battery measures."

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in an evening report posted on its official Facebook page, among other things.

Meanwhile, the Donbas Operative Telegram channel reported on this section of the frontline in the evening, citing Western OSINT researchers (see their map):

"There is information that the orcs have begun to withdraw from the northern part of Urozhayne after losing the dominant height near Staromayorske..."

However, we note that the information about the liberation of the entire Staromayorske, which was spread by the racists during the day, has so far been partially confirmed - the map shows that the northern part is completely liberated, while the southern part is still a battlefield.

The main thing is that we captured the dominant height. If we manage to gain a foothold there, the enemy still has no chance of holding both villages.
