US accuses Russia of election meddling and imposes sanctions

The United States has imposed new sanctions on the Russian Federation. They apply to 10 individuals and two legal entities.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the US Treasury Department.
The United States suspects them of Moscow's malicious influence aimed at the US presidential election in 2024. The US Treasury Department noted that Russian state media use a variety of tools, such as generative fakes and artificial intelligence-based disinformation.
