Dec 6, 2023

The United States announced on Wednesday that it would provide Ukraine with another $175 million military aid package.

This is stated in a statement by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

The Pentagon later published more detailed contents of the military aid package. It includes, among other things, AIM-9M and AIM-7 missiles for air defense, additional ammunition for HIMARS systems, 155-mm and 105-mm artillery shells, HARM high-speed anti-radar missiles, TOW anti-tank missiles, and Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems.

The list also mentions more than 4 million rounds of small arms ammunition, vehicles for towing and transporting equipment, obstacle course munitions, equipment for protecting critical national infrastructure, as well as spare parts, maintenance, and other support equipment.

"If Congress does not approve the President's request for additional national security funding, this will be one of the last security assistance packages we can provide to Ukraine," the Secretary of State warned.
