US deploys another aircraft carrier and submarine to the Middle East

The United States is sending the nuclear submarine Georgia to the Middle East and is accelerating the deployment of the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln.

Literally from the statement: "Secretary Austin reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to take all possible measures to defend Israel and noted the increased posture and capabilities of U.S. forces throughout the Middle East in light of escalating regional tensions. Reinforcing this commitment, Secretary Austin ordered the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group, equipped with F-35C fighters, to expedite its deployment to the Central Command area of responsibility in addition to the USS Theodore Roosevelt."
