US may further restrict technology exports to China

The administration of US President Joe Biden has warned China of its intention to impose new restrictions on technology exports.
RBC-Ukraine reports this with reference to Reuters.
The publication notes that the US Department of Commerce, which oversees export controls, is working to update the restrictions. It is expected that America plans to restrict the DPRK's access to more tools for manufacturing chips, as well as close some loopholes in export restrictions on artificial intelligence microchips.
Chinese Embassy spokesman in Washington, D.C., Liu Pengyu said his country "strongly opposes" the alleged "excessive expansion of the US national security concept" to "slow down China's processes."
