What is known about the attack on a high-rise building in Odesa

On the night of March 2, Russian terrorists launched a massive attack on the territory of Ukraine. One of the enemy's drones hit a high-rise building in Odesa, resulting in the deaths of civilians.

The Telegram channels of the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration (OMA) Oleh Kiper, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES), President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Odesa City Council, the Air Force, as well as the Twitter account of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Dmytro Kuleba, and Suspilne publications were used in the preparation of the material.

3 X-59/X-35 guided missiles from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson and Donetsk regions;

17 Shahed-type attack drones from the territory of Russian Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Crimean Balakleya.

Anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces destroyed 14 Shaheds in Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, and some other cities during an air attack.

After 1 am, explosions were heard in the Odesa region. After that, the JFO and the mayor's office reported that one of the enemy's drones hit a high-rise building. At around 3 am, one person was reported dead and seven injured. At the same time, Kiper warned that the search and rescue operation was ongoing.

The attack also damaged other residential high-rise buildings in the city.
