White House focused on implementing Ukraine peace plan, - Kirby

The Biden administration is focused on working with the Ukrainian side to promote and implement the 10-point peace formula presented by President Zelensky.

This was stated by John Kirby, Strategic Communications Coordinator for the U.S. National Security Council at the White House, RBC-Ukraine reports citing the briefing broadcast.

"We are focused on working with our Ukrainian colleagues to implement their 10-point proposal for a just peace. And we will see where that leads," he said.

Kirby noted that the United States wants to help Ukraine to ensure that peace proposals, regardless of who put them forward, could ensure a sustainable peace.

This, the White House official added, should be supported by the president of Ukraine.

He also emphasized that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has not demonstrated a "real desire" to end the war against Ukraine with a just peace.
