Zaluzhny discussed air defense with NATO's European Commander

On September 28, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny had a conversation with the Supreme Allied Commander Europe Christopher Cavoli.

"I informed my colleague in detail about the situation along the frontline and the priority needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Air defense augmentation issue remains a priority," the statement said.

Zaluzhny also clarified that they discussed the issue of strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, which remains a priority.

"I am grateful to our partners for their assistance and active cooperation for liberating the Ukrainian territory from the Russian occupiers," the Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief added.

Yesterday, Zaluzhny also met with the Chief of the UK Defense Staff, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, in Kyiv to discuss the situation at the front, Ukraine's offensive, and the army's current needs.
